Choosing a ticket
The Bernina Express requires a travel ticket for your chosen section and a reserved seat in the panoramic coach. Both must be valid for the same travel date and class. The Bernina Express tickets page explains the booking options and separates the seat reservation from the fare.
Regional trains are the flexible alternative if you want to stop in Pontresina, Ospizio Bernina, Poschiavo or another station. They do not provide a reserved panoramic seat. See Bernina Express or regional train to match the train type to your day.
A day trip from Milan or Como combines several parts of the journey. Depending on the offer, these may include a coach transfer, a rail section, a guide, free time in St Moritz and the return trip. Bernina Express from Milan groups the tours by departure point and itinerary without mixing them with ordinary rail tickets.
For several changes of base in Switzerland, compare the Swiss Travel Pass, Swiss Half Fare Card and regional passes. A pass may cover or reduce the fare on a railway. A mandatory seat reservation remains a separate item.

Before booking
You need a valid travel ticket for your route and a reserved seat in the panoramic coach. Some offers include both components, so check the description carefully.
Yes. Offers differ by meeting point, road transfer, rail section, guide and return journey. Compare the complete itinerary rather than the headline alone.
Regional trains use the Bernina Line without the panoramic coach’s mandatory reservation. They are useful for stopovers, but you still need a valid travel ticket.
The product, option, currency and amount shown in the selected seller’s checkout are binding.
Choose the origin, destination and train type before matching the travel ticket and seat.
